• Warmly and professionally welcome our guests.
• Serve food and drinks during meetings, dinners, and events.
• Set and clear tables, making sure everything is perfectly in order.
• Help set up and tidy up rooms or spaces for events.
• Use basic knowledge of the menu and drinks to advise guests.
• Report wishes or problems promptly to the F&B or Event Supervisor.
• Work together with colleagues in the kitchen, bar, and service to ensure smooth operations.

• You are a student looking for a flexible student job.
• Experience in hospitality is a plus, but motivation and customer focus are more important.
• You are flexible and willing to help during peak moments. Ideally, you can work 1 to 2 shifts per week.
• You speak fluent Dutch or English.

In a green oasis at a conveniently accessible location in Ghent, you’ll find our unique hospitality hub: a collaboration between Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn Express, and Residence Inn by Marriott. Courtyard by Marriott opens its doors in October 2025. The hotel features 174 stylish rooms and offers guests an inspiring blend of elegance and functionality. Our location is easily accessible, no matter where you’re coming from. The hotel is located at Akkerhage 2B, 9000 Ghent, right by exit 9 (U.Z. Gent) of the E17 highway. Coming by car? Enjoy hassle-free parking in our spacious lot. Cyclists, scooter users, and speed pedelec riders can reach us safely via well-maintained bike paths, with convenient bike parking on site. Public transportation is also a breeze: tram and bus stops are within walking distance with smooth connections via De Lijn.
