Job summary
Walt & Spencer in Brussels is seeking a Controller to manage monthly closing and reporting, translating financial data into actionable analyses for the business.
You will contribute to budgeting and forecasting, work with accounting and operations to build financial understanding, and drive improvements in reporting tools and data quality with senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in finance, business administration or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in audit/finance.
- Dutch and/or French.
- Familiarity with SAP or BI tools is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- Monthly closing and reporting to provide numbers for management action.
- Translating financial data into clear analyses of performance and drivers.
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting to anticipate results.
- Working with accounting and operational teams to build financial understanding.
- Improving reporting tools and processes with a focus on efficiency and data quality.
- Sharing analyses with management to influence decisions.
