Beaver Recruitment South Africa is seeking an experienced Work Planner to join a leading Belgian company in an industrial environment. You will plan and coordinate maintenance and project activities, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance across the process.

The role requires strong scheduling and coordination skills, close collaboration with project managers and technicians, and a proactive approach to documentation, supplier coordination and budget monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanics or related field.
• Industrial environment experience; instrumentation knowledge is an asset.
• Valid VCA certificate.
• Safety-conscious, hands-on, motivated and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Planning & Organizing: Develop detailed schedules for maintenance and project activities, considering resources, personnel, and materials for optimal efficiency.
• Execution Coordination: Monitor progress, manage deadlines, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, technicians, and operators to resolve issues quickly.
• Operational Support: Assist maintenance teams with technical analyses and procurement of materials.
• Documentation Management: Prepare work instructions, safety plans, reports, and maintain accurate records.
• Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and propose improvement projects.
• Training & Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and training to maintenance personnel on new procedures.
• Maintenance Plan Development: Create and update preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations and proactively mitigate risks.
• Budget Monitoring: Assist in managing project budgets and resource allocation.
