Beaver Migration and Recruitment is assisting a leading Belgian manufacturer in recruiting a Facility & Utility Electrical Coordinator to join its engineering team on-site in Belgium. You will coordinate electrical installation projects, update drawings in EPLAN, perform sizing and short-circuit calculations, ensure AREI compliance, and manage external contractors to maximise plant reliability and safety.

• Qualification in Industrial Electricity or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in industrial electrical installations, utilities, or facility electrical coordination.
• Experience with Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems.
• Experience using EPLAN or similar electrical design software.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution, and electrical compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

As the Facility & Utility Electrical Coordinator, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the site's electrical infrastructure by:

• Coordinating electrical installation, upgrade, and improvement projects

• Preparing and updating electrical drawings using EPLAN or similar software

• Performing cable sizing, short-circuit, and selectivity calculations

• Ensuring all electrical systems comply with AREI regulations and safety standards

• Coordinating mandatory electrical inspections and maintaining compliance documentation

• Supervising and managing external electrical contractors

• Supporting facility expansions and infrastructure improvements

• Working closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to maximise plant reliability

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the electrical department

We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A qualification in Industrial Electricity or equivalent experience

• 5+ years' experience in industrial electrical installations, utilities, or facility electrical coordination

• Experience working with Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems

• Experience using EPLAN or similar electrical design software

• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, power distribution, and electrical compliance

• Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills

• The ability to manage multiple projects and contractors simultaneously

Advantageous Experience

• Medium Voltage (MV) electrical systems

• Knowledge of AREI regulations

• French and/or English language skills

Language Requirement

Good Afrikaans language proficiency is essential for this role.

Candidate Requirements:

• South African citizen

• Willing and able to relocate to Belgium

• Valid passport (or willing to obtain one)

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
