Securitas Technology Belgium is seeking a Wireless Engineer to ensure that our wireless services and products are designed and operated to meet agreed service level agreements. You will install, maintain and repair wireless solutions, manage critical communications, and uphold strong security practices.

You will proactively handle incidents, deliver 24/7 support, and perform annual tool inspections in line with VC415 procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience in the wireless field (radio and RF).
• Must hold a VCA certificate.
• Very good command of spoken and written French.

Responsabilités

• Manage solutions in the areas of critical communications.
• Take charge of situations without direct orders to ensure the best service per SLA.
• Install, maintain and repair the designed wireless solutions.
• Pay close attention to (cyber) security aspects and adhere to company policies.
• Provide customers with 24/7 service and support.
• Carry out annual inspections of electrical tools per VC415 guidelines (VCA/BA4 Certs).

As a Wireless Engineer, you ensure that the services and/or products offered by Securitas to its customers can be designed and operated professionally in order to guarantee the service level agreements agreed with the customer.

• You focus on managing solutions in the areas of critical communications
• You will take charge of situations for which there is no direct order, i.e. you will ensure that the customer receives the best possible service at all times, taking into account their service level agreement (SLA)
• You will be responsible for installing the designed solutions and maintaining and repairing the installed solutions in the event of an incident
• You will pay close attention to the (cyber) security aspects of the solutions, while complying with Securitas' policies and procedures
• Thanks to your experience with the products in your segment (wireless, radio), you and your colleagues will provide our customers with 24/7 service
• On the instructions of the engineering manager, you will carry out the annual inspection of electrical tools. This Technical Manager ensures that inspections are only carried out by engineers who have a VCA certificate and a BA4 certificate, but above all who pay attention to detail on all the points to be checked in document VC415

Job requirements:

• You have at least 2 years of successful professional experience in the wireless field (radio and radio frequencies) as an engineer (must).
• You are proactive with strong analytical skills and can conceptualise solutions independently.
• You hold a VCA certificate (must).
• Your conceptual thinking skills and dynamic attitude make the difference.
• You are a good communicator, both internally and externally, and you are pragmatic.
• You are honest, a team player and able to work independently.
• You have a very good command of spoken and written French.
