Orange Cyberdefense seeks a Network Security Engineer to provide second line support in our Security Operations Centre. You will handle escalations, manage incidents, and implement security changes for multinational customers, ensuring SLAs are met.

The role requires experience in network security environments, and expertise with Check Point and at least one of Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto or Fortinet, plus Pulse Connect Secure or F5 BigIP modules.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT service role, supporting and troubleshooting network security environments.
• Experience with Check Point and at least one of Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto or Fortinet.
• Some experience with Pulse Connect Secure (Ivanti) and/or F5 BIG-IP modules.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Ensure documentation is clear and updated in Helpdesk/CRM systems.
• Ensure customer documentation is up-to-date and share information with peers.
• Handle incidents: ensure timely pickup and resolution, engaging stakeholders to restore service.
• Implement changes: assess and implement changes within SLAs.
• Investigate problems: identify recurring incidents and coordinate with colleagues/vendors for permanent fixes.

Working as a Network Security Engineer

In this role, you will provide a second line support and act as an escalation point for our team in the Network Security Operations Centre, providing day to day support to our customers.

Your key responsibilities:

• Provide a second line support and escalation of helpdesk tickets to our customer base, working to specific SLA’s
• Proactive technical account management for multi-national customers, managing software life cycle and patching and upgrades for customers - implementing valuable security measures on their IT infrastructure
• Ensure that all case related documentation is clear, concise and updated in the Helpdesk/CRM systems
• Ensure customer documentation is up-to-date and work with your peers to share information on the customers you are assigned to.
• Handle incidents: you ensure incidents are picked-up and resolved in a timely manner. You engage with the different stakeholders to find a resolution and restore service.
• Implementation of changes: you assess and implement changes for our customers within the foreseen SLA’s.
• Investigate problems: you identify recurring incidents and ensure these are recorded as problems. You work closely with colleagues and vendors to ensure the problem is investigated, a workaround is applied, and a permanent fix is implemented to prevent further service impact.

What we expect from you:

• Experience in an IT service role, where you have been required to support and troubleshoot network security environments
• Experience with Check Point and one of the following technologies: Cisco ASA / Firepower or Palo Alto or Fortinet
• Some experience with Pulse Connect Secure (now Ivanti), and/or F5 BigIP LTM/ASM/APM Modules
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols would be a plus
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently with a minimal supervision
• Fluent English and French or Dutch
