Securitas Technology Belgium is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer to contribute to the development of advanced wireless communication solutions in MF and HF, impacting global leadership.

You will design hardware and software, run tests, document results, and collaborate with Sales and cross-functional teams in an international, highly technical setting, with opportunities to innovate in critical safety contexts.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Telecom, or similar).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in R&D / engineering.
• Strong knowledge of radio communication and RF technologies.
• Experience in hardware/software integration is a plus.
• Languages: English and Dutch or French.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex topics.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Be part of an international and highly technical environment.
• Contribute to solutions used in critical safety and security contexts.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop innovative communication solutions (hardware & software).
• Define specifications, build concepts and simulations.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ITU, IMO, NATO, ICAO, etc.).
• Develop and validate prototypes.
• Perform verification, measurements and qualification testing.
• Define and execute test plans (functional, RF, compliance).
• Create technical documentation (manuals, training materials, product files).
• Support product training and internal knowledge sharing.
• Ensure long-term product support and lifecycle consistency.
• Collaborate with Sales & Business Development to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
• Support product demonstrations and technical proposals.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and external partners (contract manufacturers, advisors, international organizations).

Your Mission

As an R&D Engineer, you contribute to the development of advanced wireless communication solutions in MF and HF that position Securitas Technology as a key player in the global mission-critical communication market.

Your responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative communication solutions (hardware & software)
• Define specifications, build concepts and simulations
