ENERCON is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician based in Belgium near Jabbeke to service, maintain, and repair ENERCON wind turbines. The role covers electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Expect weekend call-outs and rotating late shifts as part of the schedule. You should have a Bachelor Electro-Mechanics (or equivalent by experience), be comfortable with heights, and willing to travel across Belgium.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Electro-Mechanics or equivalent by experience.
• Experience on wind turbines is advantageous.
• Driving license (B) is required.
• Safety-minded with good written and verbal communication in English and Dutch.
• Based in Belgium near Jabbeke; willing to travel across the country.
• Physically fit and comfortable with heights; team player.
• Willing to attend multi-day training in Belgium or abroad.

Responsabilités

• Service, maintenance, and repair of ENERCON wind turbines.
• Handle electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
• Fault finding and reporting on equipment.
• Adhering to site rules, policy, and procedures for safety.
• Complete all computerized documentation.
• Weekend emergency call-out service and late shift work (rotation).

As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of ENERCON wind turbines.
• Responsible for a variety of state of the art electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
• Fault finding and reporting on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Adhering to site rules, policy, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhering to Enercon's prevention policy, completing all the required documentation and reporting.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards.
• Responsible for completing all computerised documentation.
• Weekend emergency call out service and late shift work involved (Rotation).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor Electro-Mechanics (or equivalent by experience)
• Previous experience working on wind turbines is a strong advantage
• Driving license (B) is essential
• Safety-minded
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
• You are based in Belgium, near Jabbeke
• Flexibility and highly mobility required - willingness to travel across the country to meet the companies requirements
• Have a positive, pro-active approach to work in a team, along with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with heights
• Good IT skills
• Problem-solving mindset and sense of responsibility
• Willing to attend multi-day training courses in Belgium or abroad
