Job summary

ENERCON is seeking a Wind Turbine Technician in Belgium near Antwerp to service and repair ENERCON wind turbines across the country. You will work with state-of-the-art electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment, performing fault diagnostics and documenting your activities.

The role requires safety-minded professionals who can travel, attend multi-day trainings in Belgium or abroad, and communicate in English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Electro-Mechanics or equivalent by experience.
• Good written and verbal communication in English and Dutch.
• Willing to travel across Belgium and attend multi-day trainings.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, and repair of ENERCON wind turbines.
• Handle electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
• Fault finding and reporting on mechanical and electrical systems.
• Follow site rules and safety procedures for a safe working environment.
• Complete all required documentation and reporting in computerized systems.
• Participate in weekend emergency call outs and rotating late shifts.

As a Wind Turbine Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Service, maintenance, and repair of ENERCON wind turbines.
• Responsible for a variety of state of the art electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment.
• Fault finding and reporting on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Adhering to site rules, policy, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Adhering to Enercon's prevention policy, completing all the required documentation and reporting.
• Working to the highest safety and environmental standards.
• Responsible for completing all computerised documentation.
• Weekend emergency call out service and late shift work involved (Rotation).

Job requirements:

• Bachelor Electro-Mechanics (or equivalent by experience)
• Previous experience working on wind turbines is a strong advantage
• Driving license (B) is essential
• Safety-minded
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
• You are based in Belgium, near Antwerp
• Flexibility and highly mobility required – willingness to travel across the country to meet the companies requirements
• Have a positive, pro-active approach to work in a team, along with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with heights
• Good IT skills
• Problem-solving mindset and sense of responsibility
• Willing to attend multi-day training courses in Belgium or abroad
