Johnson & Johnson Innovation is seeking a QC Shiftlead Weekend Biotech for the CAR-T hub in Europe, based in Beerse, Belgium. You will oversee day-to-day planning and testing in the Biotech Release laboratory during the weekend shift, ensuring GMP compliance and timely results.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and supervisory skills. Prior experience with GMP, cGMP, and QA collaboration is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of work experience is required.
• Supervisory experience of at least 3 years is preferred.
• Expert knowledge of analytical technologies used in a QC laboratory (flow cytometry, ELISA, qPCR) is required.
• Experience with cell and gene therapy is preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong GMP compliance knowledge (cGMP, EMA/FDA) is essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead the weekend QC Biotech team (Flow Cytometry Lab, Molecular Assay qPCR Lab, ELISA Lab) and develop team capabilities.
• Set testing priorities and manage work assignments during the weekend shift.
• Maintain training and ensure compliant state of personnel.
• Review QC laboratory data for validity and accuracy according to GMP standards.
• Author/update SOPs, WIs and Protocols to support daily laboratory operations.
• Support internal and external audits and CAPA processes.
• Collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, Technical Operations, Engineering and Maintenance.
