Decskill is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical and operational support for Video Headend Engineering services and platforms. You will participate in a 24/7 on-call rota and respond to incidents, alarms and monitoring alerts.

You will investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents across IPTV, OTT, video headend, contribution, encoding, transcoding, multiplexing and encryption environments, while ensuring clear communication and escalation with NOC, Service Desk, and

Qualifications

• Professional experience in IPTV / OTT / Broadcast / Video Delivery / Telecommunications environments.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and operational support for Video Headend Engineering services and platforms.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota, responding to incidents, alarms and monitoring alerts.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents across IPTV, OTT, video headend, contribution, encoding, transcoding, multiplexing and encryption environments.
• Monitor service performance and identify service degradation and operational issues.
• Take ownership of incidents through to resolution, ensuring effective communication and escalation.
• Coordinate with NOC, Service Desk, incident managers, engineering teams, vendors and broadcasters.
• Support disaster recovery activities and alternative service paths when required.
• Support platform migrations, including legacy to next-generation video delivery technologies.
• Support change implementations and ensure operational readiness.
• Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, root causes, corrective actions and resolutions.
• Participate in operational reviews and continuous service improvement.
• Maintain knowledge of platform architecture, operational procedures and customer requirements.
