We are looking for an Technical Support Engineer | Video Headend Services!
Responsabilities:
- Provide technical and operational support for Video Headend Engineering services and platforms.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota, responding to incidents, alarms and monitoring alerts.
- Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve incidents across IPTV, OTT, video headend, contribution, encoding, transcoding, multiplexing and encryption environments.
- Monitor service performance and identify service degradation and operational issues.
- Take ownership of incidents through to resolution, ensuring effective communication and escalation.
- Coordinate with NOC, Service Desk, incident managers, engineering teams, vendors and broadcasters.
- Support disaster recovery activities and alternative service paths when required.
- Support platform migrations, including legacy to next-generation video delivery technologies.
- Support change implementations and ensure operational readiness.
- Document incidents, troubleshooting activities, root causes, corrective actions and resolutions.
- Participate in operational reviews and continuous service improvement.
- Maintain knowledge of platform architecture, operational procedures and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Professional experience in IPTV / OTT / Broadcast / Video Delivery / Telecommunications environments.
- Strong incident management, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
- Experience with Video Headend technologies and operations.
- Knowledge of:
- IPTV architecture and multicast.
- OTT and ABR streaming.
- Video contribution technologies: Satellite, IP, SRT, SDI and ASI.
- Encoding, transcoding and multiplexing.
- MPEG Transport Streams and video compression.
- Encryption and Conditional Access.
- Ability to diagnose ETR 290 transport stream issues, identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Experience with video monitoring and analysis tools is desirable.
- Experience with ATEME, Synamedia DCM/vDCM, Verimatrix, Skyline DataMiner or BridgeTech is a plus.
- Experience in 24/7 support, on-call or mission-critical environments.

- French and/or Dutch: ability to understand and respond in writing is required.
Education
- Relevant experience is essential; a degree in Telecommunications, Broadcast Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or Network Engineering is desirable.
- Relevant industry certifications in broadcast, networking, cloud or video delivery are a plus.
