Job summary

Little Miss Robot is seeking a Senior UX Designer who is fluent in Dutch and French to join as a full-time consultant on public sector projects. You will craft user-centered designs, contribute to a design system in Figma, and collaborate across business and IT to deliver intuitive digital services.

You will work with a small team, split between client offices in Brussels two days per week and remote or office work on other days, with opportunities for growth and ongoing knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Strong digital design experience in UX/UI.
• Hands-on experience with Figma and design systems.
• Experience co-creating with clients and teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and capable of French conversation.

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes and detailed designs using a design system and contribute to its growth in Figma.
• Set up and manage a design system in Figma with governance and stakeholder alignment.
• Work on public sector digital projects and other public services.
• Translate complex processes into clear diagrams, flows and visuals.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation with business, IT, communications and target groups.
• Prepare, run and process user research and testing.
• Explain design decisions clearly and document requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, business analysts and developers.

Job description

We’re looking for aSenior UX Designer who speaks both Dutch and French to join the Little Miss Robot team. You’ll work full-time as aconsultant on various projects for one client in the public sector, helping shape complex digital products that people find easy to use.

What you’ll do

• Create wireframes and detailed designs using adesign system, while also helping build that design system inFigma.
• Set up and manage adesign system in Figma, including its governance and getting stakeholders on board during implementation.
• Work on digital projects for federal government services and other public services.
• Make sense of complex processes and turn them into clear diagrams and visuals, like process flows and userflows.
• Facilitate workshops and co-creation sessions with people from business, IT and communications, and with representatives of the target group.
• Prepare, run and process user research and testing.
• Explain your design decisions convincingly and document requirements carefully.
• Work closely with project managers, functional and business analysts and developers.

Where you’ll work

You’ll join two other designers at our client. Two days aweek you work at the client’s office in Brussels. On the other days you choose whether to work from home or from our offices in Ghent or Antwerp.

• You have extensive digital design experience ( UX and/or UI ) and you know Figma inside out.
• You have hands-on experience with design systems inFigma.
• You get energy from co-creating with colleagues, clients andusers.

• A complex public sector context doesn’t scare you. You want to divein.
• You’re empathetic, you want to understand what clients and organisations really need, and you can think and act from their perspective.
• You translate conceptual ideas into visual solutions through concept sketches, wireflows, storyboards andmore.
• You know your way around service design methods such as user research, experience mapping and facilitating co-creation.
• You’re fluent in Dutch and can hold aconversation in French, or the other way around.
