Job summary

EPAM Systems in Brussels is seeking a Design Lead to join our hybrid Brussels team. You will shape digital brand experiences, lead a team, and translate strategy into design, elevating quality across projects.

You’ll collaborate with strategists, developers, 3D artists, and copywriters, driving UI, brand, and design system standards for web, mobile, and immersive work while inspiring peers with trends and design culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of design experience, ideally agency-side with strong UI/brand portfolio
• Advanced Figma, AI tools (Claude Suite, Cursor) and Adobe Creative Suite
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong understanding of UI/UX, accessibility and design systems
• Proven ability to lead projects or teams
• Excellent communication, comfortable presenting and defending ideas
• Self-starter, able to manage projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design or related field

We’re looking for a design leader with deep expertise in brand and digital design, someone who pulls the best work out of the people around them. Think creative concepts, visual narratives, brand identity in every form it can take. You connect creative thinking to business objectives instinctively; strategy shows up in the work itself, not as a separate step bolted on afterwards. You'll shape digital brand experiences for clients who don't play it safe, raise the creative bar for the whole team, and help win the business that lets us keep doing it.
