Job summary

Keytrade Bank SA in Brussels is seeking an internal and experienced UX Copywriter to join our Voice of Customer & UX team. You will translate complex financial logic into clear UI copy across our mobile app, web platforms and AI Assistant, writing in Dutch, French and English.

As the first dedicated UX Copywriter, you will help shape UX writing standards, collaborate with UX/UI Designers, Researchers and Legal to ensure clarity without compromising regulatory requirements, and contribute to how

Banking and investing activities are inherently complex and evolving fast. Your job is to make them feel simple and consistent.

We are looking for an internal and experienced UX Copywriter to join our Voice of Customer & UX team. As the first and dedicated UX Copywriter working alongside our UX/UI Designers, your mission is to translate complex financial logic, product features and strict legal requirements into clear, concise, and human UI copy across our mobile app, web platforms and new AI Assistant.

You will also help shape how UX writing is done at Keytrade Bank by bringing your expertise, best practices and ways of working to the team.

What You Will Do

As a UX Copywriter, you will be a core partner from the Discovery & Ideation phase onward when shaping digital experiences for Keytrade Bank’s banking and investing products.

• UI & Product Writing: You write and refine the product language that guides users through onboarding, investing, trading, money transfers and preference management. You write the micro-copy that helps our users navigate, make decisions, understand what happened and recover from mistakes. You own the buttons, empty states, error messages, and tooltips for Keytrade Bank’s mobile app, website and AI Assistant in Dutch, French and English.
• Complexity into Clarity: You translate complex financial products, features and regulatory requirements into clear, concise and accessible content for app and web journeys. You make sure users understand what they need to know and do, without compromising legal or regulatory requirements.
• Systems & Standards Setting: You establish, maintain and scale our UX Content guidelines. You ensure our terminology, content principles and tone of voice remain consistent across all digital touchpoints, are aligned with our Marketing content and are integrated into our Figma Design System.
• User-Centered Content Design: You don't simply write copy once a screen is finished. You contribute while the experience is being designed, challenge briefs and proposed user flowswhèn needed, ask the right questions and use user insights, research and data to make informed content decisions.
• Collaboration:You partner directly with UX/UI Designers to map out user flows, with UX Researchers to test comprehension, with Business Analysts to refine requirements and Legal/Compliance to ensure our simplicity never compromises our regulatory obligations. You collaborate heavily with the Marketing Content team on common content principles and a coherent tone of voice reflecting our brand. You also work with the Product teams and other relevant stakeholders throughout the design process.

What You Bring to the Team

• UX writing experience: Proven track record in UX writing, content design, or product writing for complex mobile and web products. Excellent writing and editing skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas simply. You bring enough experience and professional maturity to work autonomously and help establish UX writing best practices in a role that is new to the organisation.
• UX mindset: You don't just write; you design with words. You understand user-centered design, accessibility, mobile-first and plain-language principles. You know how to defend your content decisions using research, user needs, product goals and logic.
• Collaboration skills:Experience with collaborating in agile, multidisciplinary teams and able to manage multiple projects in parallel. You are comfortable working closely with UX/UI Designers, UX Researchers and/or a wide range of stakeholders, asking the right questions and constructively challenging when needed.
• Language mastery:Native/Fluent in Dutch with a working knowledge of French OR Native/Fluent in French with a working knowledge of Dutch. Excellent English writing and communication skills for content writing and internal collaboration.
• Tool knowledge:Comfortable working in Figma, with a Content Management System and with the configuration of AI Assistants.
• Content knowledge: Fintech/Banking experience is a massive plus. Investing and trading knowledge is a plus.
• Quality-oriented: proactive, pragmatic, hands-on, detail-oriented with specific attention to qualitative delivery within the deadlines. You are comfortable managing multiple priorities in parallel and working in an evolving environment where you may need to proactively seek information and bring structure when needed.
