Job summary

Materialise Medical is seeking a proactive professional to own surgeon relationships across thoracic, HPB, and urology specialties. You will drive adoption of Soft Tissue planning solutions by delivering training, workshops, and education to surgeons and partners.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, Bioscience Engineering, Commercial Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–8 years of experience in a customer-facing role in a healthcare/medical environment.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with a proven ability to persuade and align stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% of the time to partner hospitals and international conferences.

Responsibilities

• Own the surgeon relationship: Build and maintain high-impact partnerships with leading thoracic, HPB, and urology surgeons.
• Drive clinical adoption: Deliver product training, workshops, and educational programs to surgeons and strategic partners.
• Accelerate commercial growth: Partner with the sales team to support new product launches, unlock new accounts, and expand business.
• Shape the product pipeline: Deeply understand clinical and technical needs and translate insights into actionable requirements.
• Optimize the operational backbone: Translate user needs into internal process updates to maintain solution standards.
• Champion evidence-based clinical proof: Guide hospitals in data collection and presence at medical congresses.
• Track the market: Monitor surgical trends and convert competitive intelligence into opportunities.
