Cloud Power Luxembourg in Brussels Centre is seeking a senior Test Manager to lead testing activities across a portfolio of insurance IT projects. You will act as the central point of contact for all testing-related matters, coordinating teams and ensuring delivery of high-quality solutions that meet regulatory requirements.

The role requires hands-on testing experience, ISTQB certification, and strong skills with Azure DevOps and Power BI.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Define and implement test strategies and comprehensive test plans for major projects.
• Coordinate and oversee all testing phases throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor test execution, analyze results and report on quality metrics, risks and progress.
• Manage and facilitate the defect management process, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
• Use Azure DevOps for dashboards, work items, test case preparation and execution, defect creation and follow-up.
• Communicate testing progress, risks and recommendations to stakeholders and management through Power BI.
• Contribute to test governance, coordination and alignment of testing practices.
• Drive the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies and quality standards.
• Work effectively within both Agile and Waterfall project environments.

About the role

For a major insurance-sector environment in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Test Manager with a hands-on approach to lead and coordinate testing activities across a portfolio of projects.

You will act as the central point of contact for all testing-related matters, working closely with project teams, business stakeholders, analysts, developers and test engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet both business and regulatory requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies and comprehensive test plans for major projects.
• Coordinate and oversee all testing phases throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor test execution, analyze results and report on quality metrics, risks and progress.
• Manage and facilitate the defect management process, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

Required expertise

Mandatory:

• 5-8 years of experience in Test Management.
• Strong functional knowledge and understanding of software testing.
• ISTQB Foundation certification.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and its testing functionalities.
• Experience coordinating testing activities across complex projects.
• Strong analytical, organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Nice to have:

• Power BI experience at junior level, including:
• Understanding report structures and generation.
• Understanding how underlying data is refreshed and maintained.
• Experience presenting testing progress and quality information through dashboards.
• Previous insurance-sector experience.
• Broader IT knowledge.
