Job summary

Septentrio in Belgium is seeking a Test Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of GNSS products. You will be part of the Verification and Validation process, testing across development and existing platforms to identify defects and prevent regressions.

You will combine hands-on testing with test automation, data analysis, and technical reporting, collaborating with software developers and other test engineers to improve product robustness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer, Electrical, Industrial or Geomatics Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent technical field.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB and/or C for test automation, data analysis or technical tooling. Strong Python skills are particularly valuable.
• Initial experience in software, hardware or system testing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute and document functional and technical tests based on product requirements.
• Plan and perform laboratory and field test campaigns, including exploratory testing to uncover issues.
• Test all aspects from a receiver, from individual features during development to complete product systems.
