Job summary
Médiane Benelux is looking for an experienced Test Engineer to lead system and software verification and validation for a strategic software development program in guided transportation. You will define test strategies, prepare cases, and automate tests in multi-technical, high-integrity environments.
Based in Belgium, you will collaborate with development, quality, and safety teams, produce clear documentation, and deliver thorough test reports.
Qualifications
- Around 3 years of experience in system or software testing for safety-critical applications.
- Experience in critical environments (rail, aerospace, defense, etc.).
- Solid programming experience.
- Strong ability to produce clear and compliant technical documentation.
- Analytical mindset, rigor, autonomy, and team spirit.
Responsibilities
- Define test strategies at software, integration, and system levels
- Prepare test cases and scenarios
- Automate tests where relevant
- Execute test campaigns and analyze results
- Identify, document, and track defects
- Collaborate closely with development, quality, and safety teams
- Write test reports and summaries
- Participate in technical reviews and quality audits
