SEIDOR is seeking a seasoned Test Engineer to join our Strasbourg-based team. You will define testing scopes, plan activities, and ensure quality across product releases. The role requires hands-on API and UI testing, plus experience in test automation and system integration.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create robust test strategies, write test data, and manage defects to deliver reliable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of testing standards and methods.
• 7+ years of relevant testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with test planning, scenarios, and execution.
• Experience in API testing with Postman, Kreya, or similar.
• Experience in UI testing and automation.
• Experience with system integration testing and defect management.

Responsabilités

• Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing/writing test scenarios.
• Plan test activities, monitor progress, and drive alignment with stakeholders for environments and tools setup.
• Prepare assessments of product quality by reviewing requirements/design, creating test scenarios/cases/data, and automating tests.
• Run assessments by executing tests and reporting outcomes.
• Continuously improve product quality by reviewing requirements and testing approaches.

WHAT WILL YOU DO IN YOUR DAY-TO-DAY?

• Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios.
• Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools.
• Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases.
• Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome.
• Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach.
• Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

The consultant must demonstrate experience in:

• Excellent knowledge of testing standards, methods.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience for the nature of tasks.
• Hands on experience in creating efficient test approaches, test planning, test scenarios, test case creation and execution.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
• Experience using DBs and SQL.
• Experience testing UI based applications.
• Experience in writing and editing automated tests.
• Experience with system integration testing.
• Ability to understand business context, define priorities, communicate with technology focused teams and communicate the outcome of test campaigns.
• Defect Management including prioritization of defects and root cause analysis.
• Test and Defect Management tools.
• Experience in complex, enterprise system integration.
