Pauwels Consulting is seeking a specialist to support functional validation and AI-driven software development for a central registration platform. The role focuses on managing testing activities, validating AI-generated scripts, and ensuring alignment with acceptance criteria.

You will perform manual testing, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and collaborate with development and AI research teams to improve coverage and reliability of test artifacts. Brussels-based, hybrid, full-time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as test specialist on large-scale, business-critical apps.
• 5+ years test automation using TypeScript.
• 3+ years in test automation and ISTQB.
• 3+ years testing business apps, transactions, and integrations.
• 3+ years in Scrum/Agile environments.
• 3+ years with Jira for sprint management and Zephyr for test cycles.
• Proven experience with BDD test scripts and functional testing.
• Dutch language fluency at C2 level.

Responsabilités

Our client, a prominent public sector organization, is looking for a specialist to support functional validation and AI-driven software development. The role involves managing testing activities for a central registration platform while overseeing, controlling, and refining test scripts generated by agentic AI systems.

• Analyze functional documentation and business requirements to define expected system behavior and test scenarios.
• Review and validate test cases and scripts produced by AI agents against acceptance criteria and business stories.
• Perform manual testing to verify the scope, accuracy, and completeness of automated test scripts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives within a Scrum framework.
• Collaborate with development and AI research teams to provide feedback on the quality and coverage of AI-generated scripts.
• Compare manual test coverage results with AI-driven execution to ensure consistency and reliability.

• You have 5+ years of experience as a test specialist working on large-scale, business-critical applications.
• You possess 5+ years of experience in test automation using TypeScript for script development.
• You bring 3+ years of experience in test automation and formal testing methodologies such as ISTQB.
• You have 3+ years of experience testing business applications, transaction systems, and related integrations.
• You possess 3+ years of experience working in Scrum environments and Agile workflows.
• You bring 3+ years of experience with Jira for sprint management and Zephyr for test cycle orchestration.
• You have proven experience with BDD test scripts and functional testing techniques.
• You're able to clearly report and document test results and findings.
• You are proactive and solution-oriented.
• You are fluent in Dutch with a level of C2.

Nice to Haves

• 3+ years of experience with Playwright for test case scripting.
• Knowledge of Leapwork and TDD methodologies.
• Familiarity with Shift Left principles in an Agile context.
• Willingness to gain a deep understanding of complex business processes.
