Resillion is seeking a Medior/Senior Automation Tester – Playwright, Java, Selenium to define, implement, and continuously improve the test automation approach within a complex public-sector environment. The role requires strong technical expertise in automation, test strategy and architecture, and at least eight years of professional experience in software testing.

The candidate will lead testing activities, coordinate with analysts and developers, and coach other testers within an Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of demonstrable experience in software testing and test automation.
• Experience clarifying functional and non-functional requirements.
• Proven experience defining and leading a test automation strategy.
• Experience designing or contributing to a test automation architecture.
• Experience measuring and reporting automated test coverage.
• Strong test planning and documentation skills.
• Experience reporting on software quality to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Medior/Senior Automation Tester – Playwright / Java / Selenium to take a role in defining, implementing and continuously improving the test automation approach within a complex public-sector environment.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise in test automation with experience in test strategy, test architecture, requirements clarification, quality reporting, coordination and coaching. The role requires at least eight years of demonstrable professional experience in software testing and test automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Clarify functional and non-functional requirements in collaboration with analysts, developers and other stakeholders.
• Define and drive the overall test automation strategy.
• Establish the appropriate test automation architecture, tools and frameworks.
• Determine how automated test coverage will be measured, monitored and improved.
• Design, implement, maintain and execute automated tests.
• Document and communicate the results of automated testing activities.
• Prepare structured test plans aligned with the project’s objectives and delivery approach.
• Assess software quality and report findings, risks and recommendations to developers, analysts, team leads, QA representatives and management.
• Support the creation and maintenance of reliable test datasets.
• Test synchronous and asynchronous integrations, including REST APIs and event-based communication.
• Coordinate testing activities and provide guidance and coaching to other testing professionals.
• Take ownership of testing-related decisions and act as a driving force for quality within the team.
• Work effectively within an Agile and Scrum delivery environment.

Required Experience And Competencies

• At least 4 to 8 years of demonstrable experience in software testing and test automation.
• Proven experience in clarifying functional and non-functional requirements.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and recognised testing practices.
• Experience defining and leading a test automation strategy.
• Experience designing or contributing to a test automation architecture.
• Experience measuring and reporting automated test coverage.
• Strong test planning and test documentation skills.
• Experience reporting on software quality to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrable experience coordinating testing activities, coaching colleagues and taking the lead within a testing environment.
• Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• An ISTQB certification or another relevant testing certification is considered an important asset.
