Pauwels Consulting in Brussels seeks an experienced quality professional to join our testing chapter. The role focuses on ensuring excellence of resource planning systems that manage personnel and assets across a large-scale network.

You will drive quality within Agile-Scrum, analyze requirements and user stories, and lead test automation across cross-functional teams. This contract is open to permanent or freelancer, with a hybrid model in Brussels.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software testing experience.
• 3+ years testing operational planning or complex resource management systems.
• Hands-on with Playwright and TypeScript for automated testing.
• Experience with Postman, SOAP, REST, and SQL for API/test integration.
• Expertise in Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, Confluence for test management.
• Knowledge of GitHub, SAP HR, RailML.
• ISTQB Foundation and ITIL Foundation certified.
• Fluent English with Dutch or French at C1 level.

The role focuses on ensuring the excellence of critical resource planning systems that manage operational personnel and assets across a large-scale network.

• Drive the quality control lifecycle within an Agile-Scrum framework for complex resource management projects.
• Analyze requirements, user stories, and features to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Lead test automation efforts and coordinate testing activities across cross-functional teams.

• You possess deep knowledge of test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
• You have working knowledge of GitHub, SAP HR, and RailML.
• You're certified in ISTQB Foundation and ITIL Foundation.
• You're skilled in requirements engineering and the analysis of user stories and features.
• You are fluent in English with C1 level proficiency in Dutch or French.
