SYNCTIV RECRUITMENT is seeking a Medior-Senior Test Analyst/Coordinator for a Brussels freelance assignment. The role combines Test Coordinator (30%) and Test Analyst (70%) within an Agile/Scrum environment.

You will organize testing activities, define acceptance criteria, coordinate end-to-end testing with stakeholders, and support automation efforts while guiding 1–2 testers daily.

Native or fluent Dutch or French is required, with active knowledge of the second national language.

For our client, we're looking for a Medior-Senior Test Analyst/Coordinator to join their team in Brussels on a freelance mission.

This role is a combination of Test Coordinator (30%) and Test Analyst (70%), within an Agile/Scrum environment.

As a Test Coordinator, you will be responsible for organizing and following up on testing activities to ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets business requirements and expectations.

You will work closely with testers, developers, Business Analysts and business stakeholders to coordinate test activities and define an effective testing approach.

Your responsibilities include:

• Defining acceptance criteria, test cases and test strategies.
• Maintaining and coordinating regression test scenarios.
• Coordinating end-to-end testing and business acceptance testing with stakeholders outside the Agile team.
• Identifying opportunities to automate repetitive testing activities.
• Monitoring and reporting on testing progress and software quality.
• Providing daily guidance and coordination to 1 or 2 other testers within the team.

Test Analyst – 70%

As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and executing tests to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Developing a good understanding of the technical environment and functional requirements.
• Defining test strategies based on functional and technical analysis.
• Creating test scenarios and test cases for internal ICT testing and end-to-end testing with users.
• Preparing test data and performing functional and non-functional testing.
• Coordinating and supporting acceptance testing and guiding users throughout the process.
• Creating and maintaining regression tests to identify software issues efficiently.
• Applying test automation and working with other team members to implement automated tests.
• Documenting automated test procedures, tools and working methods.
• Analyzing, documenting and reporting test results to Business Analysts and Developers.
• Following up on defects and fixes with the relevant stakeholders.

Required Experience & Competencies

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Test Analyst.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Coordinator.
