Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science and/or Telecommunications, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in systems integration and/or L2/L3 technical support.
• Demonstrable skills in at least four domains such as VMware ESXi clusters, Cisco managed network equipment, Bash or Python scripting, Linux and Windows servers, IP networks, VoIP, SIP or Asterisk.
• Interest in cybersecurity, especially network security, is an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-oriented and results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to organise work and share updates through Kanban, with good stakeholder communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for critical communication systems and provide technical insight to operational teams and customers.
• Analyse customer needs and support solution definition, technical specifications and subcontractor coordination.
• Contribute to test plans, Proof of Concept activities and the validation of functionality and stability.
• Configure, monitor, support and troubleshoot customer network infrastructure and telecommunication equipment.
• Maintain, improve and document the System Integration Lab, service activities and production system modifications.

About the role

As a Telecom Systems Integration Engineer, you act as a technical focal point for complex critical communication systems in a service environment. You support the design, delivery, maintenance and evolution of deployed systems, with a strong focus on reliability, documentation and operational continuity.

You collaborate with service, incident and operational teams to translate customer needs into robust technical solutions. The role combines systems integration, advanced support, network infrastructure, lab activities and technical upgrades in a context that includes 24x7 support projects.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for critical communication systems and provide technical insight to operational teams and customers

• Analyse customer needs and support solution definition, technical specifications and subcontractor coordination

• Contribute to test plans, Proof of Concept activities and the validation of functionality and stability

• Configure, monitor, support and troubleshoot customer network infrastructure and telecommunication equipment

• Maintain, improve and document the System Integration Lab, service activities and production system modifications

What we're looking for

We are looking for a technically passionate engineer with a strong background in systems, networks and critical communication environments. You combine autonomy with team spirit, communicate clearly and approach complex technical issues with structure and curiosity.

Languages

Fluent professional English and French is mandatory.
