Job summary

VeroTech seeks an Embedded Software Integration and Validation Engineer to join our team. You will work on integrating software components for microcontrollers and embedded Linux, focusing on quality, reliability, and compliance with specifications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, improve test coverage, and strengthen automated test processes in an Agile environment, with hybrid work options and a broad salary package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or related field.
• Preferably 3 years of experience in embedded software integration, verification or development.
• Hands-on experience with embedded software integration and testing.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, Python or Bash, with debugging tools such as JTAG and GDB.
• Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS or Zephyr), asynchronous frameworks such as Embassy or RTIC, and Linux.
• Fluent written and spoken English & French is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated tests against technical specifications.
• Identify, document, track and support root-cause analysis of software defects.

About The Role

As a VeroTech consultant, you contribute to the integration, verification and validation of embedded software components for advanced technical systems. You work across embedded targets such as microcontrollers and embedded Linux, focusing on software quality, reliability and compliance with technical specifications.

You collaborate with software, hardware, system and validation teams to resolve integration issues, improve test coverage and strengthen automated test processes in an Agile environment.
