Job summary

Pauwels Consulting in Brussels is seeking a Technology Security Architect to guide secure technology architectures and ensure security controls across the full SDLC. You will collaborate with platform teams on cloud-native solutions and advise on threat modeling and design reviews.

The role requires strong experience in IAM, Azure/Kubernetes security, DevSecOps, and translating ISMS into concrete technical solutions. Fluency in Dutch or French with the other language at B2 is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as an ICT security architect.
• 5+ years IAM management implementing policies.
• 3+ years securing Azure containers and AKS.
• 3+ years DevSecOps secure SDLC experience.
• 3+ years translating ISMS into technical solutions.
• Experience working with external development teams.
• Experience in risk management and implementing security standards.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (C1) with at least a B2 in the other language.

Our client, a key organization in the energy sector, is seeking a Technology Security Architect to guide the design and implementation of secure technology architectures. This role involves integrating security controls across the full software development lifecycle and collaborating with platform teams on cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and monitor security architecture principles, guardrails, and secure-by-design standards.


• Integrate security controls within the full SDLC, from design and development to testing and deployment.


• Advise on and review technical designs, conducting threat modeling and security architecture reviews.


• Provide expertise on identity and access management, API security, and Azure cloud-native architectures.


• Define and automate security controls within CI/CD and DevSecOps processes.


• Support development and platform teams in identifying and mitigating technical security risks.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of experience as an architect within ICT Security solutions.


• You bring 5+ years of experience in managing and implementing IAM according to organizational policies.


• You possess 3+ years of experience securing Azure containers and Kubernetes (AKS) clusters.


• You have 3+ years of experience implementing and monitoring secure software development through DevSecOps.


• You bring 3+ years of experience translating ISMS and security policies into concrete technical solutions.


• You have experience working with external development teams.


• You're experienced in risk management and the implementation of security standards and procedures.


• You are fluent in Dutch or French (C1 level) with at least a B2 level in the other language (French or Dutch).

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge and experience with ITIL frameworks.


• Experience with platform engineering and building shared technical platforms for development teams.
