Cronos Europa is seeking a Technical Writer to strengthen our team in Brussels. This full-time, hybrid role focuses on creating, updating, and improving documentation for business and IT applications.

You will translate complex concepts into clear materials, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and produce guides, manuals, release notes, and knowledge base articles. Experience with Confluence and AI tools is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical writing and documentation management.
• Knowledge of software development environments and application lifecycles.
• Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, Markdown or similar platforms.
• Understanding of business applications and IT systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted writing and documentation tools is a strong asset.
• Ability to structure and simplify complex technical information.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.

We are currently looking for a Technical Writer to strengthen the Cronos Europa team.

• Freelance and Employment contract

Responsabilities:

• Create, maintain, and update technical documentation for business and IT applications.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear and user-friendly documentation.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to gather information.
• Produce user guides, technical manuals, process documentation, release notes, and knowledge base articles.
• Ensure documentation quality, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve documentation creation, maintenance, and content management processes.
• Review and continuously improve existing documentation structures and content.

Technical skills:

• Experience in technical writing and documentation management.
• Knowledge of software development environments and application lifecycles.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Markdown, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of business applications and IT systems.
• Experience using AI-assisted writing and documentation tools is a strong asset.
• Ability to structure and simplify complex technical information.
• Excellent written communication skills in English.

Profile:

• Medior-level experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation role.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment based in Brussels.
