Eval Europe is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to bridge technical excellence and customer needs across EMEA. You will ensure EVOH products run on extrusion machines and collaborate with R&D, technical and commercial teams.

The role involves hands-on testing, developing new EVOH applications, and preparing technical documentation. Travel extensively within Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• A university degree in Engineering or Science (or equivalent experience), with substantial expertise in extrusion and plastic processing and/or recycling.
• Practical experience with extrusion machinery and technical polymers.
• Willingness to travel extensively within Europe, and occasionally beyond, to collaborate with partners.
• Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Dutch/French/German is a strong advantage.
• Self-starter with hands-on attitude and enthusiasm for conducting experiments and tests.
• Regular presence at ourTechnical laboratory is expected.
• Team player who can lead through expertise.

Responsabilités

• Resolve technical matters at our customers, in close collaboration with the account managers.
• Materialize the excellent profile of EVAL EVOH as recyclable and sustainable product.
• Advise on new EVAL EVOH applications and share technical specifications and product innovations within our global R&D community.
• Prepare technical documentation for EVAL EVOH product introduction and usage.
• Partner with our technical laboratory to conduct small-scale extrusion tests.
• Conduct hands-on testing at machine manufacturers and end-user sites to optimize product applications.
• Report and document test results and insights to support continuous improvement.
• Experiment with new ideas and technologies to enhance our products and processes.
• Drive the development of innovative EVOH solutions for industries such as food packaging, underfloor heating pipe, automotive and others.

As a Technical Service Engineer, you will be the essential link between our technical centre, the R&D, technical and commercial teams, and leading customers across EMEA. Your work ensures that our high-performance EVOH products are running flawlessly on extrusion machines, creating solutions that drive innovation, recyclability and sustainability in industries like food packaging, underfloor heating pipe, automotive and beyond.

Your role as a Technical Service Engineer

In this position, you will build bridges between technical excellence, innovation and customer satisfaction. Collaborating with customers and our internal teams, you will deliver cutting-edge solutions while maintaining strong partnerships.

Your responsibilities include:

• Resolving technical matters at our customers, in close collaboration with the account managers.

• Advising on new EVAL EVOH applications and sharing technical specifications and product innovations within our global R&D community.

• Reporting and documenting test results and insights to support continuous improvement.
