Job summary

DAB Pumps in Belgium is seeking a Technical Pre Sales Engineer for Belux to support customers and the sales force, selecting the most suitable pumping solutions and preparing quotations.

You will follow up on quotes with the sales team, provide technical information on products and applications, collaborate with global D.Project team, and report to the Sales Manager Belux.

Qualifications

• Technical high school diploma or technical background; experience in a similar role is a plus.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and experience with CRM systems.
• Technical interest in pumping systems with IoT/connectivity solutions is a plus.

POSITION - Technical Pre Sales Engineer - Belux

We are looking for a driven Technical Pre Sales Engineer - Belux to join our D.Project Department to support our customers and our sales force.

What you will do:

• You support and interact with our customers and sales colleagues, selecting the most suitable solutions for installation needs and preparing quotations;
• You follow up on quotations together with the sales team, proactively contacting customers on a regular basis;
• You provide customers with information and technical support on products, applications, and suitable solutions;
• You are part of a Global D.Project team, where you have the opportunity to discuss topics, share ideas, and collaborate with colleagues across the DAB Group;
• You communicate and participate in meetings and report directly to the Sales Manager Belux.

Who you are:

• Technical high school diploma or technical background (e.g., Electromechanics); experience in a similar role is considered a plus;
• Good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and experience working with CRM systems;
• Technical interest in pumping systems, products, and applications, with a passion for technology and innovative solutions; experience with IoT and connectivity solutions is considered a strong advantage;
• Very good command of Dutch and French for the local market, and good command of English for collaboration with headquarters;
• Strong operational management and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments;
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly understand customer needs, build relationships, and identify effective solutions;
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, combined with initiative, a proactive and hands-on approach, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
