In4Matic is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to own the technical direction of a modern digital solution, working at the intersection of software architecture, development, cloud infrastructure and delivery.

You will translate high-level principles into concrete designs, safeguard codebase integrity and drive secure, scalable solutions in a delivery‑focused environment. Minimum 8 years in software, with hands-on leadership and strong Sitecore/.NET experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer or Solution Designer role within a delivery team.
• Production experience with Next.js, React and TypeScript in at least two projects.
• Experience with Sitecore in a headless architecture.
• Experience with .NET 8 or higher.
• Experience with Sitecore XM Cloud, Headless Services/JSS or Content SDK is highly relevant.
• Experience with Azure hosting and cloud-based environment management.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, performance and enterprise architecture principles.
• Ability to assess non-functional test results and adapt technical designs accordingly.

We’re looking for an experienced Technical Lead to join our client’s delivery team and take ownership of the technical direction of a modern digital solution. You’ll work at the intersection of software architecture, development, cloud infrastructure and delivery, ensuring that the solution remains secure, scalable, maintainable and aligned with enterprise standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you’ll combine architectural thinking with practical delivery and technical coaching.

The Role & Responsibilities

You will translate high-level architectural principles into concrete designs that development teams, infrastructure specialists and external partners can successfully implement. You’ll safeguard the integrity of the existing codebase, challenge technical decisions where necessary and make sure the team consistently builds on what already exists rather than unnecessarily reinventing solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning and maintaining the software architecture within an active delivery environment.
• Monitoring architectural deviations and technical debt and driving appropriate remediation.
• Maintaining codebase integrity by reducing duplication, maximising reuse and keeping the solution modular and maintainable.
• Establishing and enforcing measurable standards around security, performance and scalability through code reviews, static analysis, quality gates and architecture documentation.
• Translating high-level solution architecture into detailed, actionable technical designs.
• Ensuring implementations comply with relevant technology, infrastructure and security standards.
• Working with product and QA stakeholders to refine requirements and shape user stories into technically executable work.
• Identifying dependencies across systems, teams, vendors, data and infrastructure before they become delivery blockers.
• Improving development environments, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, preview environments, logging and monitoring.
• Acting as the technical point of contact for project management, UX, other technical teams and external partners.
• Coaching developers through code reviews, pair programming and technical workshops.
• Sharing knowledge and reducing technical single points of failure within the team.

Technical Profile

You have at least 8 years of professional software engineering experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a Technical Lead, Lead Developer or Solution Designer role within a delivery team. You bring proven hands‑on experience with modern web technologies and enterprise application development.

Key technical experience includes:

• Production experience with Next.js, React and TypeScript across at least two projects.
• Strong experience with Sitecore in a headless architecture.
• Practical experience with .NET 8 or higher for backend services.
• Experience with Sitecore XM Cloud, Headless Services/JSS or Content SDK and Experience Edge is highly relevant.
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, rendering strategies and performance optimisation.
• Experience with Azure hosting and cloud‑based environment management.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of security, scalability, performance and enterprise architecture principles.
• Ability to assess non‑functional test results and adapt technical designs accordingly.

• Demonstrable production experience with Next.js, React and TypeScript in at least two projects.
• Demonstrable production experience with Sitecore in a headless setup.
• Experience with .NET 8 or higher.
• Minimum 2 days per week working on‑site.
• C1 level or equivalent proficiency in spoken and written English.
