CBRE Belgium seeks a Technical & Facility Manager for the Liège Metropolitan Area, on-site at Médiacité shopping center. You will coordinate all technical aspects, supervise installations, manage energy programs, and ensure compliance with certifications and safety standards.

The role reports to the Shopping Center Manager and requires a Master or Bachelor in a technical field with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Fluency in French and good Dutch/English are expected.

Qualifications

• Master or Bachelor degree in a technical area (industrial engineer, mechanics, …).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the field.
• French speaking with good knowledge of Dutch and English.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate all technical aspects of the shopping center: facilities, security, and environmental matters.
• Supervise on-site technical installations: electricity, HVAC, fire, CCTV, IT, and lifts/escalators.
• Prepare files for BREEAM and ISO certifications and owner requests.
• Monitor energy consumption, waste, and environmental initiatives.
• Draft specifications, negotiate tenders, and manage contracts with vendors.

Context

TheTechnical & Facility Manager is responsible for the technical management ofshopping center Médiacité in Liège. He/she is an all-round person and willcoordinate all technical aspects of a shopping center: facilities,(fire)security, certifications (BREEAM, ISO, …), reporting, budgets, …

TheTechnical & Facility Manager is the first contact person for tenants,suppliers as well as for the landlord of the shopping center for all technicalmatters.

He/shereports to the Shopping Center Manager.

Yourmission and responsibilities

Implementationof measures and management of energy savings and environmental aspects

Supervisionof all technical installations on site. Electricity, HVAC, fire detection,CCTV, IT, telephony, intrusion, sprinklers, sanitary installations, lifts,escalators, etc.

Studies andpreparation of files for BREEAM and ISO certification and files requested bythe owner

Wastemanagement

Supervisionof the building

Drafting ofspecifications, negotiation of tenders, drawing up of contracts

Monitoringof subcontractors for technical maintenance, cleaning, security, waste removal,management of green spaces, pest control, doors,…

Recordingof energy consumption, waste, creation of files on common and private charges

Responsiblefor the security teams and the security of the buildings, staff and visitors

Accessauthorizations, fire permits

Validationof technical invoices

Monitoringthe installation of new shops, checking installation files and technical andsafety checks before opening (“Pilotage”)

Organizationof the work of the site technicians

Technicaland logistical assistance to retailers

Technicalsupport for the lease of shops

Managementof documentation, as-built files, plans, legal controls, technical controls

Contactswith the authorities, police, fire brigade, emergency services, co-ownerships

Preparation,execution and follow-up of the CAPEX plan approved by the owner

Preparationof the monthly technical management report

Immediateactions for all kinds of possible problems

Yourprofile

Master orBachelor degree in a technical area (industrial engineer, mechanics… )

Minimum 5years’ Relevant Experience In The Field

Frenchspeaking, good knowledge Dutch and English
