Capgemini Belgium is seeking a Technical Designer to support the design, development, maintenance, and quality control of technical drawings and engineering documentation for large-scale infrastructure projects in Brussels. You will collaborate with Engineers, Project Managers, Technicians and external partners to deliver accurate solutions.

The ideal candidate has a technical Bachelor's degree, proven CAD experience, and strong AutoCAD 2D/3D skills, plus MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Technical Designer or CAD Designer.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Produce, modify, and maintain technical drawings, plans, and engineering documentation.
• Develop design studies and technical solutions in accordance with internal standards, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Create and update documentation throughout the different project phases.
• Perform quality reviews and verification of technical drawings and deliverables.
• Support project teams in resolving technical issues and implementing efficient solutions.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy of project documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, drawing standards, and design methodologies.
• Organize and plan design activities while meeting project deadlines and commitments.
• Provide technical support during project execution when required.
• Maintain proper document management and technical records.

Your Role

Location: Brussels

• We are looking for a Technical Designer to support the design, development, maintenance, and quality control of technical drawings and engineering documentation for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Working within multidisciplinary project teams, you will collaborate closely with Engineers, Project Managers, Technicians, and external partners to deliver accurate and high-quality technical solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, Industrial Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Technical Designer or CAD Designer.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organizational and planning capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
