Capgemini Belgium is seeking a Technical Designer to design, develop, maintain, and audit technical drawings and engineering documents for large infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, technicians, and external partners to ensure accurate, high-quality solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and proven CAD design experience, with strong AutoCAD 2D/3D skills and solid documentation capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related).
• Proven experience as Technical Designer or CAD Designer.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organizational and planning capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop technical expertise.
• Fluent in English and French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Produce, modify, and maintain technical drawings, plans, and engineering documentation.
• Develop design studies and technical solutions per internal standards and quality requirements.
• Create and update documentation across project phases.
• Perform quality reviews and verification of drawings and deliverables.
• Support project teams in resolving technical issues and implementing efficient solutions.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Contribute to drawing standards, methodologies, and continuous improvement.
• Organize and plan design activities to meet deadlines.
• Provide technical support during project execution.
• Maintain proper document management and records.
