Actiris in Brussels is seeking a hands-on production assistant to assemble hardware devices under engineering guidance and support testing and validation activities.

You will prepare materials from the warehouse, count stock, organize workspace, inspect items for quality, and assist the operations team with production and logistics tasks in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Assemble AI-Blox devices under supervision of the engineering team.
• Support device testing and validation activities led by engineering team.
• Prepare materials and components from warehouse to supply workstations.
• Perform inventory counting and stock-taking to maintain inventory records.
• Organize, clean and optimize warehouse spaces for efficiency and accessibility.
• Inspect assembled units and components for quality and completeness.
• Handle materials, tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Assist operations with general production and logistics tasks as needed.

Working as hardware consultants for companies developing physical AI products, they experienced the struggle to find the proper infrastructure setup.

AI applications evolve very fast, while typical infrastructure is very rigid. They solve that problem by providing a modular and flexible infra platform that includes hardware, software & deployment / scaling tools. The modularity allows the platform to evolve with the application's needs.

They believe they can streamline the physical AI value chain by addressing as many friction points as possible. By providing full solutions, they enable their clients to deploy their solutions faster.

• Assemble AI-Blox devices under the supervision and guidance of the engineering team
• Support device testing and validation activities led by the engineering team
• Prepare materials and components for assembly activities, including picking items from the warehouse to supply workstations
• Perform inventory counting and stock-taking activities to maintain accurate inventory records
• Organize, clean and optimize warehouse spaces to improve efficiency and accessibility
• Inspect assembled units and components to ensure quality and completeness
• Handle materials, tools and equipment safely and responsibly
• Assist the operations team with general production and logistics-related tasks as needed

Profil

• Hands-on mentality with an interest in assembling technical or electromechanical products
• Comfortable working with tools, hardware components and production materials
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Physically capable of lifting and moving boxes, materials and equipment
• Proactive attitude and willingness to support different operational activities
• Experience in assembly, warehouse operations or production environments is a plus
• Basic understanding of electronics or electromechanical systems is an advantage
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Good communication skills in English
• Available from October
• Able to work in our Brussels office on a fulltime basis
• A fixed term contract of 3 months (possibility to extend)
