AI-Blox seeks a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to drive OS development for its Blox hardware. You will design and maintain Yocto-based images, work on kernel components, and help customers with tight device integration.

You’ll collaborate with hardware and software teams, test and debug systems, and contribute to scalable test environments and robust OTA updates. Brussels-based on-site role with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in embedded Linux development (medior/senior).
• Expertise in Linux drivers, device trees, and hardware protocols (I2C, SPI, USB).
• Familiarity with secure boot, TrustedZone, and OTA systems (RAUC, Mender).
• Coding in C/C++, Python, Bash; Yocto experience.
• English communication skills; self-driven and autonomous.
• Willing to work on-site from Brussels office.

Responsabilités

• Develop a future-proof Operating System for Blox hardware.
• Develop and maintain Yocto-based device images.
• Handle kernel development (device trees, drivers, etc.).
• Build an automated test setup to scale software testing.
• Support clients with low-level software integration.
• Collaborate with hardware and application engineers.
• Test, debug, and maintain systems to perfection.

Your Mission

How you'll make an impact:

• Work on a strategic project to develop a future-proof Operating System for our Blox hardware
• Develop and maintain Yocto-based device images
• Handle kernel development (device trees, drivers, etc.)
• Build an automated test setup to scale software testing
• Support clients with low-level software integration
• Collaborate with hardware and application engineers
• Test, debug, and maintain systems to perfection

What makes you a great fit:
