Idealis Consulting is seeking an Odoo Technical Architect to elevate the quality of technical analyses and drive the Odoo team’s growth. You will tackle complex challenges and act as the technical authority for projects with ~20 developers.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in Odoo, strong testing skills, and fluency in French and English, with Dutch being a plus. A CDI with fringe benefits awaits in Belgium.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering.
• At least 7 years of proven experience with Odoo.
• Ability to test and challenge existing solutions.
• Strong focus on quality, adaptability, and self-learning.
• Fluent in French and English.

As an Odoo Technical Architect, your primary mission is to elevate the quality of technical analyses and solutions provided to clients, while developing the expertise of the Odoo development team. You tackle complex technical challenges and proactively test and challenge functional analyses. You will serve as the technical authority for projects requiring the expertise of a team of approximately 20 developers.

What your key responsibilities will be

Quality Optimization

Enhance the rigor of technical analyses and the excellence of technical solutions delivered to clients.

Talent Development

Drive the upskilling and ensure the coaching of the Odoo development team.

Technical Expertise & Validation

Design complex technical solutions while testing and challenging functional analyses.

Cross-project Technical Lead

Serve as the primary technical reference point for projects involving a team of approximately 20 developers.

The ideal profile for our Idealis team

Must have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a field related to the position (Computer Science, IT, Engineering, etc.).
• At least 7 years of proven experience with Odoo.
• Ability to test and challenge existing solutions.
• Strong focus on quality, adaptability, and a proven ability for self-learning.
• Fluent in Franch and English

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Dutch is a significant asset.
