Idealis Group is looking for an Odoo Consultant to play a pivotal role in digital transformation projects in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. You will utilize your technical and functional expertise to create bespoke solutions, ensuring high-quality technical documentation and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field and proficiency in Python and the Odoo platform. The role offers a permanent contract and multiple benefits, emphasizing stability and work-life balance.

As an Odoo Consultant, you play a pivotal role in our clients' digital transformation by intervening across the entire project value chain. You combine technical and functional expertise to design bespoke solutions, ranging from multi-store e-commerce integrations to complex feasibility studies. Your mission is to translate business requirements into robust architectures while ensuring high-precision technical documentation and reporting.

What your key responsibilities will be

Analysis & design of solutions

Participate in functional and technical analyses to define innovative solutions and conduct in-depth feasibility studies.

Support & knowledge transfer

Organize client workshops and meetings while providing functional training for end-users.

Develop and test functional designs, including the integration of multi-store e-commerce platforms within Odoo.

Draft technical specifications, develop detailed documentation, and design business solution components.

The ideal profile for our Idealis team

Must have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python, the Linux environment (Ubuntu), and the Odoo platform.
• Ability to perform complex PostgreSQL queries
• Fluent in French OR Dutch, with a good knowledge of English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git and the PyCharm IDE for code management.
• Additional skills in advanced web development
• Independent, fast-paced, and rigorous profile, with a strong focus on achieving objectives.
• Excellent communicator and team player, with the ability to build long-lasting, trust-based relationships.
