Mielabelo in Belgium is seeking a Team Manager GIS to lead a team of about ten professionals across application analysts, developers, project leaders and a technical architect. You will prioritize activities, align resources with workload, and keep the team engaged and motivated.

You will coach the team, drive GIS project portfolio, collaborate with business and architecture teams to define a shared GIS vision, manage budgets, incidents and SLAs, and report to the Head of Works, GIS and Customer.

Competenze

• Bachelor or Master level education in a relevant field.
• Proven experience as IT Manager / in coordinating an IT team within a medium-size or large organization.
• Proven experience in leading an IT delivery team.
• Proven experience in leading at least 8 FTE
• Proven experience with ITIL and project management.
• Daily operational management of an ICT organization and leadership of team members.

As Team Manager GIS, you are responsible for the following:

• - You lead a team of approximately ten employees, including application analysts, developers, project leaders and a technical architect.
• - You are responsible for prioritizing the team's activities and ensuring that resources are aligned with the workload.
• - You keep the team aligned, engaged and motivated.
• - You support the individual development of team members through effective coaching.
• - You manage the portfolio of projects related to GIS strategy.
• - You collaborate with the business and architecture teams to define and promote a shared vision for the evolution of the domain.
• - You are accountable for delivering projects within your domain according to the agreed scope, budget, and timeline.
• - Your team is responsible for the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of the applications within your domain, as well as user support.
• - You organize the handling of incidents and user change requests in the most effective way, in accordance with departmental processes and defined SLAs.
• - You organize the monitoring of the applications within your domain and proactively ensure their stable and efficient operation.
• - You manage the budgets required for the execution of your teams’ activities.
• - You drive the continuous improvement of your team’s activities.
• - You are a member of the DBS management team and report to the Head of the “Works, GIS and Customer” department.
