At Sarens Academy in Wolvertem, Belgium, you lead the daily operations of our training centre and shape the future of technical excellence. You take ownership of quality, planning and continuous improvement, making sure our academy delivers real value every day.

Your job in a nutshell

• You lead the Sarens Academy team and report directly to the Learning & Development Manager
• You drive the development, review and quality of all training programmes
• You translate operational needs into practical and effective learning solutions

About you

• Proven (first) experience in leading and coaching a team
• A strong technical affinity (experience in heavy lifting, transport or similar is a plus)
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• A structured, quality-driven mindset with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in a professional environment
• Fluency in Dutch and English (French is a plus)
• Experience with training, learning programmes or technical education (preferred)
• Familiarity with certifications such as VCA, TCVT or ECOL (preferred)
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with focus on continuous improvement
