Job summary

Qargo TMS in Ghent seeks a Team Lead Professional Services to build and lead a new team delivering customer implementations across markets. You will provide structure, direction and support to Business Analysts and Integration Delivery Managers, ensuring on-time delivery and strong collaboration with engineering and cross‑functional teams.

You’ll coordinate a fast-growing, distributed team, maintain visibility of progress, and coach team members to take on greater ownership over time.

• Experience in a customer-facing, consulting or software implementation environment (SaaS/tech scale-up).

We’re looking for a Team Lead Professional Services to join our team in Ghent, with the possibility of occasional travel to the US.

About the Role

As Team Lead Professional Services, you’ll build and lead a new team within our Professional Services organisation. You’ll manage a team of Business Analysts and Integration Delivery Managers, giving them the structure, direction and support they need to deliver great implementations for our customers.

This is as much about people and organisation as it is about delivery: you’ll bring planning, prioritisation and visibility to a fast-growing, distributed team, while staying close enough to the work to support your team on functional and technical questions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead and grow a Professional Services team covering Qargo’s markets, made up of Business Analysts and Integration Delivery Managers.
• Own the planning, prioritisation and coordination of your team’s work, keeping workload balanced and deadlines on track.
• Create visibility on project status, team capacity and progress, both within your team and for stakeholders across the organisation.
• Coach and develop your team members, helping them grow in their roles and take on more ownership over time.
• Put the right processes and structure in place to support a team that is scaling quickly and operating across multiple markets.
• Support your team on functional and technical questions (e.g. APIs, system integrations, data flows), without getting pulled into day-to-day execution yourself.
• Align with engineering teams to identify and raise specific building blocks in the framework that could increase the efficiency and coverage of what the professional services team could tackle
• Coordinate across locations and time zones (where relevant), as teams may over time become hybrid, spanning multiple locations such as Europe and the US.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in people management, ideally having led or coached a team before.
• Strong organisational skills, self-leadership and time management; you’re structured and disciplined by nature.
• Experience in a customer-facing, consulting or software implementation environment, ideally within a SaaS or tech scale-up.
• Technical affinity: comfortable with concepts like APIs, system integrations and data flows, without needing to code yourself.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and create visibility across the organisation.
• Comfortable managing and coordinating a distributed, international team across time zones.
• You thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment where structure needs to be built as you go.
• Fluent in English.
