Job summary

Ageas is seeking a Sustainability Director to lead the ESG and social dimension across Europe and Asia. The role defines the long-term vision and strategic transformation roadmap for ESG products, responsible underwriting, social impact and DEI, ensuring alignment with Ageas’ strategy and value creation.

It delivers insights to the Board and engages senior stakeholders across the Group. The post requires fluent English, ability to travel, and a track record of leading enterprise-level

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field with demonstrated sustainability leadership.
• Executive-level communicator with Board and Executive Committee engagement.
• Strong ability to translate ESG priorities into group strategy and transformation roadmap.
• Proven leadership of complex, cross-border transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Own and define long-term ESG and social sustainability ambition for Ageas.
• Define and govern ESG products strategy and risk/underwriting integration.
• Collaborate with HR on DEI strategy and leadership expectations.
• Mobilise senior stakeholders across functions and represent Ageas in external networks.
• Lead governance frameworks to ensure consistent execution across Europe and Asia.
• Provide insights directly to the Board and Executive Committee.
