Job summary

VIA Antwerp is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join our MEA restaurant team. You will provide friendly, attentive and professional service, helping create a welcoming dining experience for guests during breakfast and other service periods.

Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and drinks, clearing tables, keeping areas clean, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth service. Fluency in Dutch and English is preferred; other languages are a plus.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work as a student employee in Belgium.
• Previous experience in waiting or food and beverage service is required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Friendly, presentable, reliable and attentive to detail.
• Team player and able to handle busy service periods.
• Flexible availability for morning or evening shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take food and beverage orders and communicate them accurately to the kitchen or bar.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently.
• Prepare and clear tables before, during and after service.
