Atlas Copco Airpower N.V. in Wilrijk, Belgium, seeks a proactive procurement specialist to optimize supplier networks. You will manage supplier relationships, onboard new suppliers, and drive cost-saving initiatives within a hybrid work setup.

You will analyze markets, benchmark suppliers, negotiate renewals, and collaborate with Supplier Quality Assurance to improve performance and on-time deliveries across aftermarket compressors and related components.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering or business, or relevant experience in supply chain management.
• Fluent in English.
• Passionate about new innovations and technology.
• Able to lead when necessary.
• Comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Manage supplier relationships for the existing supplier portfolio and onboard new suppliers.
• Explore and improve supply chains, focusing on six pillars of purchasing excellence: total cost, quality, logistics, product/process development, contracting, and sustainability.
• Lead negotiations for renewal of supply agreements and conduct market benchmarking for cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with Supplier Quality Assurance engineers to improve supplier quality and ensure on-time deliveries.
