Atlas Copco Group in Belgium is seeking a Design Engineer Mechanical specialized in energy conversion to translate customer needs into compressor, dryer, and accessory solutions. You will design and modify technical drawings, perform risk analyses, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of CAD systems (Inventor/AutoCAD) and ENOVIA.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).
• Affinity for mechanical design and product optimization.
• Initiative, problem-solving mindset, and team spirit.

Responsabilités

• Translate customer needs into compressor, dryer, and accessory designs and modify technical drawings.
• Perform risk analyses to ensure safety and quality of designs.
• Support technicians and validate peers’ work to ensure quality.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to optimize designs.
• Assist the quotation team by translating specifications into machine requirements.
• Contribute to compressor designs, promote standardization, and manage data sharing within Global Engineering.
• Participate in a comprehensive onboarding and development program.
