Job summary

Prosper-IT bv seeks an experienced Release Manager to bring structure to complex release processes and coordinate releases across several products and teams. You will align colleagues on short-term progress while building a more predictable way of working, in close cooperation with QA.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams, external suppliers, and stakeholders, and delivering clear status updates.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in release management across multiple teams/products.
• Ability to map current release workflows and identify bottlenecks.
• Translate improvements into actionable, agreed-upon work patterns.
• Strong grasp of planning, quality, risk, and technical dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Owns coordination of releases across several products and teams.
• Standardizes release processes, responsibilities, controls and escalation paths.
• Maintains a shared release calendar and aligns schedules with dependencies.
• Monitors risks and readiness, communicates status and actions to stakeholders.
• Guides Go/No-Go decisions and ensures teams have the right information.
• Connects internal teams, external suppliers and other stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
• Provides clear visibility of release status and outstanding actions.
• Drives continuous improvement by capturing feedback and translating issues into concrete changes.
