Jobtailor in Belgium seeks a senior Release Manager to coordinate end-to-end release activities and align business priorities with technical readiness. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams, monitor risks and deployment readiness, and ensure quality, security, and architectural compliance.

The role requires leadership experience and a deep understanding of release practices in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience, including at least 3 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing tech leads in large teams.
• Strong release management expertise and ability to formalise processes and best practices.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate end-to-end release activities aligned with business priorities and technical readiness.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies across teams and domains for smooth releases.
• Monitor release risks, blockers, and deployment readiness; drive issue resolution.
• Ensure quality standards, testing, security, and architecture conformance.
• Collaborate with Product Leads, Tech Leads, Architecture, and Operations to enable delivery.
• Track application performance, quality metrics, and incidents; drive continuous improvement.
• Support capacity planning, budgeting, and delivery forecasts with clear visibility.
• Provide status updates on risks, dependencies, and operational impact to stakeholders.
• Coordinate effective incident management across teams and business areas.
• Contribute to ongoing optimization of delivery processes and governance.
