Job summary

ING Belgium is seeking a Portfolio Manager Credit Risk to lead analysis of Private Individuals portfolios and deliver proactive credit insights. You will work in a high-exposure, well-connected team focused on managing risk and informing strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes data-driven analytics, insights delivery to senior management, and collaboration across risk, front-office, and policy teams. The position requires a Master’s degree in economics or related field, strong data analysis,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics, applied economics, statistics, or related field.
• Strong data analysis skills with solid presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; PowerBI and Python are a strong plus.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team in a dynamic environment.
• Great attention to detail and drive to understand issues thoroughly.
• Experience with Vortex data is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and assess Private Individuals credit portfolios to support risk management.
• Develop insights and recommendations for senior management and regulatory assurance.
• Gather and manage data; contribute to automation and enhanced data visualization.
• Collaborate with risk, front-office, and policy teams to drive change and process improvements.
