Job summary

IMEC is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager for IC-Link silicon services to drive growth across wafer services such as Si photonics, interposers, and heterogeneous integration. You will build strategic customer portfolios, coordinate deals, and work with technical and IP/legal teams to craft compelling offerings.

You will lead pricing discussions, finalize contracts, and maintain close customer relationships, including representing IMEC at trade shows.

Qualifications

Master’s degree with strong business acumen and customer orientation.
Experience in sales and/or business development in semiconductor markets.
Understanding of business models and IP licensing.
Experience negotiating terms and contracts with technical leaders.
Fluent English, strong communication and networking skills.
Willingness to travel 10–20% for business opportunities.

Responsibilities

Build, grow and manage a portfolio of customers for imec wafer services (Si photonics wafer services, interposer production, heterogeneous integration).
Coordinate business interactions, generate leads and discover new opportunities for imec’s wafer services.
Collaborate with technical teams on business aspects of collaborations.
Develop optimal business models with IP and legal teams; shape offerings with portfolio teams.
Lead negotiations on IP models and pricing; finalize contracts with customers.
Maintain customer satisfaction and communicate needs to internal stakeholders.
Represent imec at external trade shows and exhibitions.
Report to the Business Line Director for this sector.
