BEA Sensors Europe, based in Liège, Belgium, seeks an Accounting and Tax Manager to lead the accounting team and ensure reliable financial information in line with Belgian GAAP, IFRS and Halma Group requirements.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee tax compliance (CIT, VAT, transfer pricing), strengthen internal controls, coordinate audits, and drive finance modernization through automation. A strategic partner for local and group stakeholders.

Formación

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Tax or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in accounting and taxation within an international and/or industrial environment.
• Proven experience managing and developing a team while fostering engagement and high performance.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting and closing processes.
• Solid expertise in corporate taxation, VAT, transfer pricing and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with internal controls, risk management and governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to translate complex financial matters into clear business recommendations.
• Fluency in French and professional level of English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead monthly, semi-annual and annual closing processes in line with Belgian GAAP, IFRS and Halma Group requirements.
• Oversee all accounting activities, providing guidance on complex accounting matters and ensuring quality data.
• Manage BEA's tax compliance framework including CIT, VAT, transfer pricing and other tax matters.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management and governance frameworks.
• Serve as main contact for internal and external auditors, coordinating audits and addressing findings.
• Contribute to modernization of the Finance function through process optimization, automation and digitalization.
• Lead, coach and develop the Accounting team.
